After my last post, the one that talked about how 'perfectly perfect' the first day of summer was...we were deluged with the famous June Gloom our area is well known for, with maybe one or two nice days thrown in to tease us into thinking summer really WAS here to stay...but alas no, rain and gray have marked our days...until today!!! We woke up to beautiful sunny skies and it's truly supposed to get continually warmer in the coming days...so it's really the 'perfectly perfect' start to what summer's supposed to be like...today!
We are going to be celebrating with friends today who are having a BBQ party...I'm making Ina's Provencal Potato Salad (I really should get on that this very minute!), and then everyone is walking to a view overlooking the city to watch the fireworks...should be a lovely day, and a perfectly perfect way to honor & celebrate this great country of ours!

Happy 4th! As a mayo-adverse person, that salad sounds like it takes the one I usually make to the next level of goodness:).
LPC...I'm not a mayo person either, that's why I love this salad, it's delicious! I'm not adding the tuna & anchovies today though...don't think it would go that great with burgers & dogs! xo
