~ Robert Orben
I'm back home again, dearly looking forward to doing nothing after spending an entire week of 'doing nothing'...and Miss. Ginger is going to help me as she's quite wonderful at doing nothing! We both loved all of your sweet comments by the way, thank you...I'm so glad that you finally got to meet her face to face...she did a marvelous job holding down the fort while I was gone didn't she?...such a goodgirl. ♥
Internet service was extremely sketchy at Gitzi's so I was only able to get online briefly every now and then...it will be nice to catch up properly with everyone, your brilliance and 'friendship' has been missed. That's Gitzi's guest bath above (my bath), and her artwork...two of my favorites actually, which I kept hinting at constantly. I'm hoping they show up in the post one day, my goodness...I believe that might have been another hint!
I wonder where I'm going to put them...

Great wallpaper!
Oh yes, I'm a firm believer in dropping strong hints, fingers crossed for you.
B&P...Crossed fingers much appreciated! I grew up with that wallpaper...it took me a bit to catch up to it, but I love it now!
By the way, Ginger's chubby little paws are a fave of mine as well, you should see her run with them! xo
Hello Jessica:
Like Tabitha, above, we see absolutely nothing wrong with dropping the occasional, or even periodic, hint which, just sometimes, does bring a result! So, keep trying.
AS a friend of ours [hugely successful in a way we could never be, nor would wish to be] always says, if you do not ask you do not get. Works for him, we think!
Jane& Lance...Hello! I'm so glad you approve of my stratagem...I haven't tried the actual 'asking' that your successful friend suggests quite yet...I'm saving that in the event that emergency tactics are required! ;)
Oh yes...dear Jane&Lance, I had also wanted to tell you how apropo you sweet Ginger comment was, as we were in Hollywood and surrounded by some serious old school glamour at one point...Ginger's melting gaze would have been right at home! xo
Just to let you all know, this wallpaper is 32 years old, and I still love it. Jessica the art work can be yours at any time. It's only 9 years old. I am so glad you like it. Love, Gitzi
Well that was easy...thanks Gitzi!!! :D + ♥
LOL!
Maybe just gently (!) hinting away did the trick! You made me laugh!
They are wonderful pieces of art, have you decided where they will go??
Thanks for visiting me, you are always very welcome! How funny that some people don't seem to need privacy (re; your comment on neighbours and lack of blinds) - I hope it doesnt affect your quality of life.
Autumn weather here for sure now - windy and wet and lots of leaves turning colour and falling - I love the change of seasons if Im ready for it!
Hope you are enjoying some good weather still
Gill xx
Loving the sound of doing nothing - hoping that's in my future somI hope etime soon. Beautiful artwork - hints most definitely noted here - and I hope chez Gitzi's as well!!
I love that wallpaper. :-)
And the artwork? It screams both "boudoir" and "living room" to me -- but then again a lot of artwork screams at me...
Pearl
Very pretty! Glad you're back :)
Gilly...Glad we gave you a chuckle! I'm not sure where they will go...I do loe them on that wallpaper so I realized that maybe she can make two new ones so they don't have to leave their home...we'll see.
Beautiful day here...just like summer! xo
Quintessence...Maybe after you get back from London you can have a little 'nothing' time...spent telling us all about it! ;)
xo
Pearl...I love that artwork 'screams', not speaks to you...they really have someting to say to you don't they?! ;)
xo
Elizabeth Rose...You're so sweet...it's nice to be back, thank you!! xo
I'm with you and Miss Ginger, I could happily do nothing for a long, long time!
I'm glad you had a nice visit, and if I were you, I'd keep right on hinting...Gitzi's artwork is positively dreamy!
xoxo
Very interesting wallpaper, especially combined with the pictures!
Dennice...We are doing nothing (except talking to you of course) at this very moment...I'm a bit wiped out from traveling and doing nothing so it's perfect! ;)
I love how you described the artwork as dreamy...that's exactly how I see it too. xoxo
A&A...It is isn't it?! I love the pink and yellow together...it's always bright and cheery...I hope I don't ruin the 'look' by snagging those pic's! ;)
