Hello Jessica:
What wonderful images to acknowledge the presence of summer. We do so hope that you will have a very happy and relaxing one and will enjoy the kind of weather which you depict here.

Happy Summer to you too!

It is a pretty one here today in BC. Here's hoping it's a sneak peek of what's to come!

It's summer here too, finally, and I'm even loving the sweating at this point.

You know, Jessica, you have opened my mind. I saw a lone Scotch Broom the other day and it was rather dainty and delicate. It's just when he gets with all his rowdy cousins that I get disturbed.

Happy Summer!!! Love these long days.

this is when i miss seattle most. although i miss the city often, even the rain at times...i mostly miss the blue summer sky. pure magic. i hope this summer brings you more blue skies than ever before. or at least a really long indian summer.

And here? Grey sky, rain falling down. No summer at all. We had beautiful weather in spring, but it changed completely. For nature it is good we have rain again, but for our feeling of summer?
But, I sure love these long light days.
And we will have nice warm weather again, I am sure.

I didn't have any idea what is ""a scotch broom"", but after searching on the internet I find out it is the yellow plant of your picture.

I wish you a lot of Scotch brooms, and the best blue skies of the world!!!!

Summer is the best! We got rain today, but I got super wellies yesterday:) Weather does not matter as long as it's green.

Liz...I'm thrilled!! And I agree...the rowdy cousins could calm themselves down a bit and learn from their more quiet cousins who are able to picnic at the beach beautifully and respectfully, while enhancing, not annoying their surroundings. They have a wonderful scent too...that's probably why the bugs like them! xo

Thank you *everyone* for your very sweet and wonderful summer wishes and thoughts!!! The rain has come back with a vengeance so we're soggy again, but summer MUST be still hovering around out there somewhere...it just has to be, but Linnea is right, the 'green' is helping! xo

Abroad...May the images bring you summer thoughts all winter long...so happy you enjoyed them! xo

LPC...I wouldn't mind a little sweating about now! ;)

Elizabeth...Yes...MORE!!! Maybe if we say Pretty Please it will come back!xo

Brock...A really long Indian Summer would be the absolute best!!! xo

Geri...I'm so happy to have introduced you to the Scotch Broom, and I hope your summer comes back soon, ours left as well...it was only here for one day! xo

Joan...I hope you're able one day to visit again and take care of those "misses"...it would be such a treat! So happy you enjoyed the images!! xo

It does not get any better than those clear blue skies! I've said it a thousand times, there is no where more beautiful than Seattle in the summer! Good times ahead Jessica.

Much love,
