Thank You Sweet Wilf...

A beloved member of blogland passed away Friday. One who with a continually joyful and gentle spirit, showed so many around the world, with the help of his gracious and loving owners...what true bravery mingled with patient endurance looked like.

We are going to miss you so much Wilfy, many hearts were touched by your smiling courage these past two years.

Thank you dearest boy...and sweet dreams.

Updated 5/21: Wilfy wasn't our pup, although I think those who checked in on him daily felt as if he were sometimes. Please visit Wilfy's blog to read his special story, and maybe leave a note for his dear owners: Wilf the Pon Discovers France

Lynne...Wilf wasn't our dog, although sometimes it felt as if he were, as he did to so many in the blogsphere. I'll be sure to give you his link. xo

Hello Jessica:
The death of a pet, as all pet owners will know only too well, is so very sad. Wilf was clearly a very special dog and it will be hard for his owners without him.

Dear Jessica,
I am so sorry to hear your sad news.....Wilfy looked so kind and a real softy I'm sure. I know what it's like to lose a pet so I really feel for you. Just remember all of the pleasure he gave you, all of the good times and the lovely memories you have of him and what a priveldge it was to have had him in your lives.
Much love Jessica and am thinking of you. XXXX

So terribly sorry for your two losses so close. Two years ago my father passed away at 91 and the night of his memorial service three nights later we lost our beloved dog Max. He was with my father all the time and we were devastated. I believe with all my heart they are both in heaven, as your Wilfy is looking down on you all. My prayers are with you. He was beautiful.

Dear Jacqueline & Lee...thank you so much for your kind sentiments, but Wilfy wasn't our dog...I will make an adjustment to the post because I see it seems that he was.
He was another bloggers dear pup who touched many lives and hearts. I'll post the link to his site. xoxo

Oh Jessica,
I'm so sorry that I got the wrong end of the stick .... but, everything that I said still goes to the owner of Wilfy. He looks the lovliest of dogs and just the sort of dog that I would have.
....; and, many thanks for your lovely comment. A bit of mummy bragging. !!!! XXXX

I absolutely understand how 'blogland' could become attached to a pup. He looks adorable with those shaggy whiskers.

He was all of ours that read the blog. Painful to see him go.
