The very special friends of Agnes and Hazel have finally arrived! They are perfectly prepared and readied for today's festivities, and have been practicing their lines and poses ever since they got here...true professionals! Now we must wait for the Eve to ascend so that the long awaited, silly and spooky fun may commence!

Not a single ring of the doorbell here tonight, boo!
Hello Jessica:
What fun! We particularly like the black cat with its eyes which appear to be rolling around in a hypnotic stare. Just what spell that cat could cast on us fills us with dread!
And, as you say, everything is there with the finest attention to detail. Pumpkin, spider and a bag of tricks and treats. Lovely!
But, if only there could be a real party at the Hattatt salon, then our happiness should surely be complete. One day/night perhaps!!!
B&P~ I'm so sorry...boo indeed!! What will you do with the sweets then? Maybe your Mummy and her friends would like them. My fingers are still crossed for a late treater though... xo
Jane&Lance~ I'm so happy you like our new friends...the black cat is my favorite as well, he's very funny and is constantly trying to hypnotize us with those crazy eyes! ;)
Thank you for noticing all the details...a few young students told me I spelled Trick Or Treat wrong...they said I should have put 'Er' instead of 'Or', it was sweet...maybe next time!
I will be dreaming of a possible, future Hattatt salon party then...
xo
Jessica,
How cute are this pair!?
Happy Halloween!!!

Agnes and Hazel look like they mean business and I would certainly hand over the candy bowl if they ventured to my door.
I had no callers and decided I would visit Nicki (4 yrs old) and deliver a bag of goodies. He loved the home delivery and even sang for me.
Helen xx
Have a very happy Halloween!
You can't beat a striped hat with a spider! And I love the moon balloon--all so colorful and clever! Happy Hallowe'en!!
somewhat depressing Halloween. Trick or treaters came only while I zipped off to the neighborhood party {who could resist beast bourgoinon??} I think I will rent a home in a more popular neighborhood next year.
Such a great picture, Happy Halloween! Rachaelxx
A&A~ Thank you!! Hope you had a fun evening! xo
Helen~ Agnes and Hazel are actually quite nice, they can't help but looking a bit scary though, it's their job.
How sweet that you were serenaded on Halloween...that is one of the nicest 'treats' I've ever heard of!! xo J~
LPC~ Thank you, we did...and a very busy one at that!! Hope your was happy as well...were you able to costume up for work? xo
ElizabethRose~ Maybe wearing a striped hat with a spider will be in order for next year...it will have to be a fake spider though, and one that doesn't have fangs! xo
SplendidMarket~ There's no way you could have passed up 'beast bourguignon'...that just wouldn't have been right! I do love the idea of renting a house in a busy neighborhood for Halloween though...especially if could be a haunted one...you could have a beast party there to boot, how fun would that be?!
(I think all the Reeses PB Cups have gone to my brain...)
xo J~
Rachael~ Thank you!! A bit different than last years post! xo
Hope you all had a great fun time. Its funny because in Scotland we make lanterns from turnips - very difficult to carve!
Unifiedspace~ We had a very fun time, thank you! I'd love to see lanterns made out of turnips...the candle must be very tiny! xo
Well Jessica, i hope the silliness and spookiness was worthy of those endearing and jolly characters. All I want now is just such a hat (the pink - oh ok, the green one too).
Aaaaw! Such lovely drawings. I hope you had an awesome Halloween! Did lots of kids come by? Thanks for the advice too, I really appreciate it.
Mise~ Very worthy indeed, we had such a fun time! The hats by the way, are yours...both of them! Clive and Gourdey would be honored for you to have (and wear) them, and think they would look much better on you than them...you just have to promise a steady supply of flies for Webster, the spider, they do love him so. xo
RabbitTown~ We had a fantastic Halloween, thank you! We first took our nephews out and about, then we sugared up the children that came to our home...which were quite a few, and I was actually worried that we were going to run out of sweets, thankfully we didn't...and now we can enjoy some as well!
Your welcome by the way bunny...hope to see you smiling soon! xoxo
