Welcome to 24 Corners, our 'hoping to one day be truly settled in' home. The creation of this house has been an amazing ride ~ full of discovery, adventure, and heartache. By God's grace we're almost there...home.

amazing. i cant wait to see your cooking blog. lets not forget that great kitchen with the cabinets, counters, lighting and floors...wow, wow, wow.
seem's like a real grown up home that i could get used to.
wonderful.
Ooh, that looks just like the stove we had in New York City. What a beauty! I love the cabinets too and the burnished wood floor and the sleek counters...perfectly elegant, all of it.
Also, I just want to thank you for leaving so many lovely comments on my blog. They always make me smile and ensure that the words "24 Corners" resound liltingly in my mind all day! xx
I am sure he or she is very friendly and can't wait to get acquainted...Happy weekend, xv..
"she's" a beauty! and I am SURE you are gonna be life long friends! Your kitchen is smashing!!!
Brock St. - Thank you...wow's coming from you truly mean a lot! Maybe I'll post about the first edible and intersting thing I cook on 'her'...but I think that's the closest I can come to a cooking blog. ;)
btw - "real grown up house"...so funny! I've thought the same thing! xo
And Lisa! I was so thrilled to see your comment last night that I actually had to run off and make some "Easy Now" tea as I knew my future sleep was in peril...it worked it's magic too well and I accidentally deleted (in the preview) the absolutely brilliant & heartfelt comments I'd written to you and Brock St.! I was so loopy by that time (and very dismayed) that I just went to bed!
So here I am...all caffeined up, and ready to properly let you know how happy I am that you visited (that's probably very obvious by now)!
Your comment is so sweet, thank you! I truly admire your writing, artistic style (home and otherwise) and of course, your crazy talent with a needle...I'm continually amazed and inspired!
Wishing you a wonderful weekend...
xxoo Jessica
Vicki and Ivy ~ Thanks for the very nice comments...and the encouragement!!!
A lovely weekend to both of you!
xo Jessica
Oh my word! I am so jealous of your oven. You lucky girl...Can I come over and play? I make a mean biscotti.
Have a magical weekend, dear friend...xoxo
oh my gosh!! My little kitchen is a bit jealous, too. What fun you will have cooking up a storm here, once you have conquered the manual. Or, just do what I do, and learn the hard way. Enjoy!! xo Lidy
D! Please come over and play...so fun! There are two ovens...that's a lot of biscotti!!!
xxoo J~
Lidy ~ I'll most likely be learning the hard way since I loathe manual reading...but I will try...because I think she's worth it! :)
I'm so bringing you poblano peppers to roast in the hopes you fire all six of those babies at once.
Liz~ Love it...your on! :)
Yum...cooking contest is on. I love the red knobs BTW.
kelley
Jessie, I also love the red knobs. That is truly a great cooking inspiration. I know that you will have so much fun with it. And I am lookinbg forward to my first meal in Seattle.

What time is dinner? I will bring the perfect hostess gift and a large valise full so that I can move right in. What a lovely kitchen and I do hope that your hot stove has one hot name like "Paris" or "Marilyn" -
My Mother always told me the way to a man's heart is via the stomach and I can already envision lots of truly scrumptious meals prepared there.
I know you will all too thrilled to say "bye bye" to that blue tape.

oh, let me say, your comments in my corner make me feel ready to go back in and load up my brush and put up a good fight....a renovation looms and I am always given confidence to those who have put up a fight and survived. I may just have to have a white flag in my pocket, but then I will say, huh, if 24 corners can do it, so can I.
pve
pve~ You are welcome anytime...we'll cook up something scruptious and go on and on about our building projects!
I'm in your renovation corner with buckets of soothing advice and calming balms of been there done that if ever needed! xxoo Jessica
Gitzi! I'm looking forward to your first meal in Seattle too...we'll cook it together! xxoo
